Our main source of charity referrals is the donor.
When a donor would like to support a charity, we have them make an introduction via email, so that we can then work closely with that charity to walk through a simple approval process.

HOW IT WORKS …. After a donor advises us of the charities they wish to benefit our Kaiarahi Trust staff researches from the public record or from the charity documentation necessary for to confirm the organisation is considered charitable in nature and compliant in its reporting
Legal charity requirements, governing documents, organizational purpose, and financial information is reviewed. Additionally leadership and board members good character are referenced
While this is an important due diligence task we do not want to distract charity staff from their mission
